Take a break with our Short Term Accommodation

We offer Short Term Accommodation (STA) for adults with intellectual disabilities. This allows a break for carers while we provide 1:1 support. Short Term Accommodation is available to book every day of the year, with a minimum stay of one night. This service is provided from a serviced apartment located in Doncaster. However, the location can be adjusted based on your specific needs and the availability of alternative accommodation options.

We support people with their daily routines, whilst maintaining and enhancing skills and abilities already developed.

We have a committed and experienced team that provides a quality, responsive, and flexible service to meet the needs of each person.

Rooms available: 1

Minimum stay: 1 night (24 hours)

Booking deadline*: 2 weeks in advance

Amenities: Wireless Internet, Linen and Towels provided.

We cater to dietary requirements and can support medication administration.

Availability and Stay Requirements

Alkira’s Short Term Accommodation Service supports many families and strives to accommodate requests wherever possible.

We require an assessment and trial process before you can book your first night with us. This is to ensure we are able to provide the necessary level of support, ensure suitability and so you can meet our support staff.
