Overview

At AlkiraBiz Café, we’re more than just a local coffee stop — we’re a welcoming hub of community, inclusivity, and empowerment. Located in Box Hill, this not-for-profit social enterprise serves delicious, locally-sourced food and coffee while providing meaningful employment training for adults with intellectual disabilities.

Through hands-on experience in a real cafe setting, participants build valuable skills in hospitality, customer service, and barista training. Our goal is to create real opportunities for people to gain confidence, learn new skills, and actively contribute to their local community.

Proudly supported by Whitehorse City Council, every coffee brewed and delicious treat served helps break down barriers and promote inclusive, skills-based learning.
