Alkira’s Supported Holidays give adults with intellectual and other disabilities the chance to explore new places, build confidence, and enjoy memorable holidays with the support they need. Our small-group travel experiences are inclusive, well-organised, and designed with each participant’s needs in mind.
Our experienced and qualified staff provide the right level of assistance to ensure a fun, inclusive, and memorable travel experience. With small group sizes and person-centred planning, Supported holidays are designed to build independence, create friendships, and make lasting memories.

We travel to many different areas. Each trip is designed to be fun, engaging, and supportive — giving participants the chance to explore, socialise, and enjoy a break from everyday life.

The price of the holiday changes depending on the duration and destination, but they typically range from $500 to $1,000.
The NDIS funds the support component of your trip through your Core Supports, so you’ll need to check your plan for available hours for either a weekend or week-long holiday.
