Experience the Creativity of Alkira Artists
Alkira’s much-loved Annual Art Exhibition returns this year to the Box Hill Community Arts Centre, showcasing the incredible creativity and expression of the artists we support.
Running from Tuesday 25 November to Sunday 7 December 2025, this exhibition will feature the work of Alkira participants, each bringing their own style, imagination and story to life through art. Visitors can explore a vibrant mix of acrylic and watercolour paintings, mosaics, marker and coloured pencil drawings, and striking 3D sculptures.
Alkira offers a unique setting for artists of all abilities to come together, explore their creativity, and share their work in an atmosphere of encouragement and respect. For over 70 years, Alkira has supported people with intellectual disabilities to belong, connect and aspire, and this exhibition proudly reflects that spirit of inclusion and possibility.
Each piece on display captures the individuality of the artists. The exhibition is always a highlight (and colourful) part of our year, and a wonderful way for the broader community to celebrate the talents and achievements of Alkira artists.
