FURTHER YOUR SKILLS AFTER HIGHSCHOOL

Our School Leavers Employment Support service (SLES) is called Skill Up with SLES. It is designed to assist 18-22 year old participants to develop essential community, life and employment skills. School leavers transition from highschool to work life.

Skill Up with SLES prepares you for your chosen pathway. For example your pathway may be a Disability Employment Service (DES), open employment, online courses or tertiary education. We support you towards your employment goal.

Skill Up with SLES is usually group based but we are flexible and have 1:1 support options if you need.

SLES will support you to gain work skills, at Alkira we specifically focus on teaching retail skills which can be used in a variety of job settings.
