We offer a range of services, supports and experiences for different stages of adult life, opening doors for participants to live life to the fullest.

We build a comprehensive understanding of our participants current and future needs, how our services align with these and use this information to plan for future service demands.

Our services are tailored to meet the needs of our participants across different stages of their adult lives supporting them to achieve their individual goals and ambitions.

Partnerships with other providers enable us to adapt to the changing needs of our participants, supporting them through key life transitions and providing continuous, seamless support.

Partnering with participants

We partner with participants in service design and delivery, to empower individuals, promote inclusivity, enhance their overall well-being, and foster growth. Our approaches ensure that participants’ voices are heard, choices are respected, and lives are enriched, while also providing opportunities for growth both for participants and our organisation.

OBJECTIVE 1

We develop a co-design framework that ensures participants and their families help shape and grow Alkira’s services.

OBJECTIVE 2

Application of our co-design framework across our services leads to increased engagement by participants and their families in shaping and growing the Alkira they want.

OBJECTIVE 3

Participants exercise increased choice and control over how they engage with us, leading to better experiences, improved service outcomes and lives that are enriched by engagement with Alkira.

Community Partner

We leverage our reputation as an experienced and trusted service provider to build formal and informal partnerships, to broaden the range of pathways available to participants and to advocate for a more inclusive community.

OBJECTIVE 1

Development of a partnering framework guides engagement with current and potential partners and articulates the value we bring to all of our work.

OBJECTIVE 2

Stronger community partnerships create more specific opportunities for existing participants, and pathways into Alkira for new participants.

OBJECTIVE 3

Our advocacy and participation in the Suburban Rail Loop planning process helps shape more inclusive outcomes for our participants and families in and around Box Hill.
