Elizabeth Curran for her Outstanding Contribution
Elizabeth is a mother of two Alkira participants and an Alkira volunteer, who has contributed over many years to Alkira and the wider disability community. At times this contribution has been public and at other times her contribution has been in the form of providing support or information individually to another family. She has reduced the stress and anxiety of many parents by empowering them with information, and for that we thank her.
Louise Hu for her Bright Star Board Award
Louise started working at Alkira in our finance team in April 2020, right at the start of the pandemic in Victoria. Her optimistic outlook and can-do attitude are catching, her spirit inspires and motivates her team mates. Louise has fit in very well at Alkira and we are so lucky to have her.
