RESIDENTIAL COORDINATORS

We currently have opportunities for Residential Coordinators to join our Home Supports Team in the Eastern Metropolitan Region. These roles oversee multiple Supported Independent Living sites on one property and have responsibility for multiple participants (residents), as well as a dynamic team of committed professional Support Workers. The Residential Coordinator has designated administrative hours and works a component of their role providing direct support to participants as part of the roster. The role is comprised of some hours during business hours as well as morning, afternoon and sleepover shifts. The Residential Coordinator also provides After Hours (On-Call) support as part of a rotating roster with other Coordinators

The role of Residential Coordinator is to mentor, lead and supervise the team of Support Workers, while actively supporting our participants to live a fulfilled life and ensure their health and wellbeing needs are met. Participants will be supported with daily living tasks, including personal care and health needs, social engagement, community access, building independent living skills and connecting with natural supports as well as a range of other aspects as necessary.

You will also be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with relevant stakeholders and other staff to deliver the best possible outcomes for the participants we support.

Due to increased 2018 enrolments, Alkira Momentum is seeking an enthusiastic, engaging and creative Instructor, to join their dynamic and supportive team.

Momentum is an innovative post-school option, that supports young people to access TAFE training, develop confidence, increase independence and explore future opportunities.

Alkira is a community organisation assisting adults with an intellectual disability and their families to live life according to their needs, interests and wishes through a variety of educational, training, support and accommodation services.

Salary and employment conditions are linked to the Alkira Centre – Box Hill Inc. Disability Services Victoria (Part 1) Enterprise Agreement 2005,

Salary packaging is available to successful appointees after a qualifying period.
